Broader theory
This page isolates the broader theory section from the original record: the hypothecation hypothesis, token-casino dilution, and opaque trust filtering around digital claims.
It is presented here as a separate theory page so the public record can stay modular and easier to navigate.
Hypothecation hypothesis
Hypothecation means using an asset as collateral while ownership or exposure is reused through financial layers. Rehypothecation extends that logic further, allowing claims, collateral, and leverage to multiply beyond what ordinary users can easily see.
CIGO’s broader hypothesis is that token-casino economy often functions as a dilution machine: attention, liquidity, and wages are pulled into endless synthetic assets, while ordinary people are encouraged to chase digital claims instead of holding durable value.
In that environment, opaque labels become powerful. They can bless one token, bury another, steer liquidity, shape user confidence, and preserve same hierarchy that dominates legacy finance.
Dollar dilution and token casino
Deeper issue is not only one warning label on one token. Deeper issue is endless dilution of real purchasing power into speculative digital casinos, where new token claims, wrapped claims, synthetic claims, and reputation-filtered claims compete for liquidity while hard assets remain older monetary anchor.
In COSIGO’s view, gold and silver remain and reign supreme. They do not depend on a wallet interface, scanner feed, DEX label, or explorer profile to exist. They do not need a third-party API to confirm that they are real.
A system that can endlessly manufacture digital claims while privately controlling which claims receive trust is not neutral. It is a control structure. It can function like debt pressure relief for insiders and liquidity extraction for outsiders — erasing paper stress one hypothecated token at a time.
That is hypothesis. COSIGO will document evidence and let users decide for themselves. CIGO remains exposed to the market-facing side of that environment.
